Men in Their Workspaces
As long as I am able bodied, I’ll always photograph men in their workspaces. When I meet a man who has a shop or warehouse that holds his tools, collections and projects, I’m compelled to document it. I use the camera to gain access to what is really a creative sanctuary. In every case, the workspaces are an extension of these men’s mental life. With these gelatin silver photographs, I try to create a true portrayal of each person.
